Mechanical calculators: FACIT C1-13
I purchased this machine at an oline auction site. It was in quite good condition, apart from the natural deterioration of some rubber fixtures. Apart from re-chrome plating the external levers, I kept its original look, including part of a sticker in the back from a maintenance shop in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. It's mechanism, however, was hardened by the deterioration of oils and greases used in its lubrication from back in the 1960s and possibly the 1970s. I did a complete disassembly, cleaning and reassembly, along with a (modern) lubrication, and the machine is back in its prime condition.
This machine was manufactured in c1968, at FACIT's unit in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
