Emanuel Juliano
Olá! I'm currently (since July 2023) a PhD student in the Computer Science Department at UFMG, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, under the supervision of Gabriel Coutinho. In 2025, I was a Research visitor at the Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands, where I collaborated with Aida Abiad. In Fall 2026, I will be a visiting researcher in the Combinatorics and Optimization Department at University of Waterloo, collaborating with Chris Godsil. I am a recipient of the 2025 Google PhD Fellowship for my research in Algorithms and Optimization.
I mainly do research in algebraic graph theory. My background is in eigenvalues of graphs, quantum computing, and parameterized algorithms. I am interested in studying these areas, as well as any funny topic in graph theory!
