Hello, my name is Hugo. I'm brazilian, currently a Computer Science major at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). I was born and raised in Belo Horizonte, MG.
As someone who's always been interested in technology, studying Computer Science was an easy choice for me. And that's what I started to do since 2013. Since then I've been able to learn a great deal about computers and what do to with them. However, there's still so much to learn, especially because in Computer Science things change and evolve very quickly.
Languages: C/C++, Java, Python, Prolog, SML, SciLab.
Hardware: FPGA, Verilog, MIPS assembly.
I am fascinated by people. Diversity is the key to the world. And learning languages is a powerful way to connect with people all around the globe. I'm always trying to learn a new language or to improve my language skills. Since I was born and raised in Brazil, my mother tongue is Portuguese. I also speak fluent English, and lived for a year in the United States of America, where I could improve my English. While I was in the USA, I studied French and plan to continue to do so to be able to spend some time in a French speaking country in the future.
I love music (both playing and listening to), reading books (especially those with captivating and complex characters), traveling (to meet different kinds of people), and learning things (knowledge connects people).
