Study Guide
Midterm I will cover study material from the beginning of the semester up to, and including, the last class before it. Midterm II will cover study material from Midterm I up to, and including, the last class before it.
Midterm I will be closed books, notes, laptops and other electronic devices. However, you are allowed to bring up to 4 pages (two sheets) of notes.
Midterm II will be a take-home exam.
The exams will assume knowledge of all the required reading material listed in the Lectures section as well as solutions to exercises and homework assignments. Recommended readings are excluded.
Midterm I will contain a mix of true/false, multiple choice, short answer questions, and problems similar to those in the exercises and homework assignments. Coding problems will focus on testing your knowledge of the basic concepts presented in class, not the specifics of F# syntax.
