I am assistant professor in the Computer Science Department (DECOM) of Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP). I received a Ph.D. in Computer
Science from UFMG, in 2010. During my Ph.D., I held research intern positions at HP Labs and MPI-SWS (Max Planck Institute for Software Systems). My
current research plans are focused on exploiting and understanding the characteristics of online social network systems.
