Prospective
Undergraduate or Postgraduate students interested in working with me should know about my interests and the research topics in which I work (see Research and Publications). I am looking for self-motivated people, who know how to work as a team, and preferably have some knowledge in areas such as: algorithms, optimization, machine learning, computer vision, control, etc. (you don’t have to be interested in all of them or be an expert!).
You can contact me directly by email, telling me your reasons and motivations, topics where you would like/could work and previous experiences. The selection for the Master or Doctorate is done through the regular process of our graduate program (PPGCC/UFMG), but if you are interested in my research areas, send me a message before applying.
Funding: There are different forms and opportunities, for example, participating in one of our research and development projects or through scholarships granted by agencies such as CNPq and CAPES.
