I am currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science (DCC) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). I completed my PhD in Computer Science at PPGCC/UFMG in 2013, advised by Prof. Mario F. M. Campos. I was a Visiting Researcher between 2019/2020 at GRASP Lab/UPenn, working with Prof. Vijay Kumar.

I am part of the Computer Vision and Robotics Laboratory (VeRLab). My main research interest is in Robotics, considering topics such as path planning and autonomous navigation; multi-robot systems and swarm robotics; and human-robot interaction.
